The Science

The Veteran’s Guide to Psychedelics is a preparation and integration workbook designed specifically for military veterans exploring psychedelic-assisted therapy as a path to healing. It was developed with input from the Heroic Hearts Project and clinically reviewed by VA mental health expert Ken Weingardt, PhD, and 100% of proceeds go to Heroic Hearts Project

Preparing for the Breakthrough in Veteran Health Care
The MOU signed 7/14/26 lays the groundwork for VA-HHS cooperation on psychedelic trials, which includes efforts to:

Increase clinical trial participation

Provide training for therapists, nurses and doctors involved in these trials

Collect and share data on the effectiveness, safety and costs of these potential therapies

Share data with the FDA so it can quickly approve tested treatments

Develop educational materials so patients know what to expect when a successful trial leads to a new, approved treatment
